THE TRUTH ABOUT FAKE NEWS

News has evolved from word of mouth, to newspapers, to Radio, to TV, the internet and social media. Somewhere along the way, we have been conditioned to not believe any of these sources. The term “Fake News” is relatively new and was hijacked then adulterated by Donald Trump. It was initially used to identify obviously false information. It was not designed to cast doubt on all news. The only way to dismiss all sources of news is to be present yourself at every event world wide and that of course is impossible. So at some level, you have to believe some of the news you are exposed to. Just proceed cautiously and trust but verify. Instead we are asked to believe the word of President Trump, a pathological liar, and Fox News only. This Blog will focus only on TV News for now. Here are some names in TV news that were trusted giants in their industry: Edward R. Murrow, Walter Cronkite, Chet Huntley, David Brinkley, Peter Jennings, Tom Brokaw. Some of you are too young to remember these men, but you have to understand there are still some news broadcasters that maintain their integrity. Of course, occasional errors are made in TV news reporting, but a fair and balanced News agency will make the necessary corrections as soon as possible.

Watch more than one news source then compare each. Usually if they all agree, the story is probably reliable. If one source disagrees with the majority, the majority is usually right. Just don’t forget to trust but verify. That’s where facts come in. Federal websites and State websites are usually a reliable source of information and facts. Remember, people are entitled to their own opinion, but not their own facts. Armed with facts, you don’t have to guess if a story is true or fake. Treat News like the Constitution treats indicted criminals, innocent until proven guilty. Believing that all news is fake just proves you are lazy, narrow minded, and have a simple mind. America you have plenty of brain cells. Don’t waste them.

TRUMP COVID-19 TEST IS POSITIVE

President Trump has been downplaying the severity of the COVID-19 virus for months. He was even mocking Joe Biden for wearing a mask even though the experts stated that the simple act of wearing a mask could reduce the chance of getting the virus. The bottom line is, President Trump could have probably avoided his exposure. I do hope he does not get seriously ill, but he does have significant risk factors regarding age and being over weight.

This one event sums up who President Trump is and how his reelection is truly a CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER for the United States and the Constitution. Trump is simply a con artist, liar, and an unempathetic self serving ego maniac who suffers from delusions of grandeur. During the first debate, Trump was clearly out of control. He was like a rabid dog, attacking Joe Biden and Chris Wallace, the moderator of the debate. Between his debate performance and him being positive for Covid-19, you simply can’t trust anything he says and now you know he can wildly lose control of his emotions. Chris Wallace had to constantly remind him to allow him to ask his questions and allow Joe Biden to answer his questions without interruptions. Imagine Trump going into a blind rage during a nuclear crisis. If he can do that on a debate stage, he can certainly do that on the world stage.

The question is, did you listen to Trump or the science and medical experts regarding the virus. Trump said the virus was not a big deal, but the experts said take simple precautions like wear a mask. So who did you listen to? Now ask yourself, do you have family or friends who got sick or died? If you listened to Trump, you backed the wrong horse and the chickens have come home to roost. This sums up the Trump Presidency. I hope these recent events will guide you to make the best decision you can possibly make in the voting booth. God bless you and God bless the United States of America.

CONSTITUTION vs TRUMP

Trump is a compulsive, habitual, and pathological liar. He can’t help himself. Lying is like breathing for him. The problem is, his dedicated followers simply don’t care. Those same followers give him a pass on all of the many things he says and does that are just anti-American, antisocial, anti-intuitive, and sometimes just vindictive. Of course he can fire anyone in his administration that disagrees with him, but to fire a twin brother or deny a pension one month before retirement to an FBI Agent is just hateful.

Here are just a few other things you know are Unconstitutional or just plain wrong:

  • Taking Putin’s word over U.S. Intelligence Agencies
  • Trump removed peaceful protestors
  • All news is fake news. Really? We are supposed to believe a pathological liar instead?
  • His policy led to children in cages
  • Trump states that he knows more than his Generals
  • Trump ignores the advice of medical experts and doctors and does not initiate a national effort to control the spread of the COVID-19 Virus. As a result, over 200,000 have died. Yes he initiated a Chinese and EU travel ban which saved lives, but every life lost after that is from his downplaying of the severity of the COVID-19 virus and the use of mask. To this day he is attracting super spreader crowds. He made no attempt to hide the fact that the economy was more important than human life.
  • The Constitution gives Congress oversite over the Executive branch of government. Trump ignored subpoenas, failed to appear, and encouraged his staff to do the same. This shows that the Constitution and the rule of law means nothing to him. By the way, his taxes are still being audited. Yeah, riiiiiiiight!!!!
  • The Kurds helped the U.S. fight Isis, but he withdrew military cover allowing them to be at the mercy of Syria.
  • Trump is quick to point out that the social unrest about Black lives matter has resulted in riots, looting, and several police shootings that are happening in mostly blue states. He spends very little time talking about the unarmed citizens killed and maimed by the police which started the social unrest in most of those places in the first place. By the way, most of the COVID-19 hot spots are in red states and far more people are getting sick and dying than in the blue state “RIOTS”. Trump doesn’t mention that.
  • During the social, economic, and medical crisis, previous Presidents try to calm the country and pull us together. Not Trump. He is hellbent on tossing grenades and pouring gasoline on the fires. Trump is a coward, he never admits he is wrong, wants you to believe he is the smartest man alive, he never accepts responsibility for anything, and he always blames someone else for everything that goes wrong on his watch.

You Trump supporters always say things like Trump misspoke, that’s not what he meant, he was just joking. Even Trump said “I never kid.” So how many times are you going to give him a pass? Aren’t you tired of trying to explain his actions? It must be exhausting to cover for him everyday. At some point you have to come to the realization that Trump is mentally unstable and he is ripping the fabric of Democracy apart. He is not fit to continue as President of these great United States. With any one of the above items, he should be disqualified to be President and dog catcher too. When you look at all of them together, you wouldn’t want someone like that living next to you, so why would you want him as President?

When you seriously think about Trumps words and actions, don’t think of them as character flaws, see them for what they are. They are a simple choice of right verses wrong, lawful verses unlawful, and Constitutional verses Unconstitutional. You should let your heart guide you regarding right verses wrong, but lawful and Constitutional you can actually look up. Some of you need to stop accepting everything that Trump says as fact and start looking things up. You’ll be amazed when you are exposed to facts. Happy reading.

MORAL IMPOTENCE OR TREASON?

CONGRESS

Our Politicians should have sprung into action immediately after Columbine in 1999, but they didn’t. There was nationwide moral outrage when children as young as 6 years old were murdered at Sandy Hook in 2012, and still they did nothing. Most recently, students were killed at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, on Wednesday, February 14, 2018. About 122 school murders have occured over the 19 years since Columbine. Today, even though there is more than 90% nationwide support for sensible gun registration laws and the banning of assault weapons, President Trump and Congress are still falling short of those simple, but impactful changes. This is truly Moral Impotence, but more importantly, as our elected leaders, they are sworn to ensure our right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. When they don’t do everything possible to protect us from threats, foreign and domestic, in the face of clear and present dangers, they are commiting treason by ignoring their mandate given by the Constitution of the United State’s Declaration of Independence.

Politicians and many Republican voters argue that it is their right to own guns, and they are right. Guns are necessary for protection, to hunt, and recreation. Nobody wants to take guns used for these purposes. Assault rifles like the AR-15 are weapons of war and have no business being in the hands of the average citizen. It fires a high velocity round that is more lethal than a low velocity firearm, even if they inflict the exact same wound.  Another argument is that if strong gun laws are passed, it won’t stop  people who are determined to kill. Once again they are right, but stricter gun laws will reduce the amount of deaths caused by guns. The person determined to kill, will kill fewer people with a hand gun or hunting rifle than if he were firing an AR-15. So the goal of stricter gun laws is to reduce the loss of life and not take 2nd amendment rights. Any regulation is for our protection. Since more Airline inspections were mandated, there have been fewer deaths from Airline crashes. Seatbelts and airbags have reduced automobile deaths. Many cities have cleaner air because of regulation and that decreases healthcare disease and deaths. We have to choose. Do we protect your right to own an AR-15 that has no practical use for the average citizen, or protect the right of a child to live. I’m going to get out of my comfort zone for a moment. So, Politicians and Citizens, if you choose your right to own an AR-15 over the right of a child to live, you are an enemy of the state, morally bankrupt, a cold, heartless bastard, and a DUMB ASS!!!!
