I’ve been saying in my Blog that Trump is dangerous for America and American Democracy for the past 3 years. Finally, there are high ranking officials in Trump’s Administration (General Mark Milley Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff & Mark Esper Defense Secretary) and previous Presidential Administrations that agree. Most of these officials are Generals and Admirals. They have an unwritten code to not make negative comments about a past or sitting President. Many of them broke that code when President Trump used force to break up a peaceful protest so he could have a photo op in Lafayette Square. This shows Trump’s ignorance of the Constitution of the United States, his poor judgement, his lack of mature leadership, his poor understanding of the American people and society, and his blatant rejection of the rule of law. If you don’t agree with or understand these basic strengths relating to the Constitution, then you are the anarchist and traitor to the United States of America and not the protesters.

If you are like the voters in the Trump voter video, and you don’t have any good, and sometimes no answer as to why you support President Trump or why you support almost anything he does and says, then you need to vote for someone other than Donald Trump November 3, 2020. If you don’t vote for someone else, you are just being silly. Just to remind you, anyone Republican or Democrat, would be a better President for America than Donald Trump.

First let me say that there are some stupid people in every race, so this is not a racist statement. This is a purely political statement. I say that based on the fact that most of the people who voted for Donald Trump were white. Most voted for him because they always vote Republican, others didn’t like Hillary Clinton, some didn’t think the economy was recovering fast enough, they wanted immigration reform, and they wanted Pro-Life Judges on the Supreme Court. The rest of the Trump voters are just plain stupid. They are stupid because they abandoned some teachings they learned early in life. These teachings demonstrate how common sense thinking can help us understand the world around us. There is no question that America is the greatest country in the world. It is filled with the promise of a good life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness, and the hope of a true union of the people of the United States. But the killing of Mr. George Floyd in Minneapolis, Minnesota by a police officer who strangled him to death with his knee on his neck, diminishes America’s greatness. This event underscores the fact that racism remains endemic in America. For those of you who think that people of color are exaggerating how serious and frequent racist treatment occurs on almost a daily basis in housing, jobs, retail, and the criminal justice system, this is a clear statement that racism is alive and well in America. Mr. Floyd was arrested for an alleged counterfeiting crime. The crime he was arrested for does not carry with it the death sentence if convicted. Mr. Floyd likely resisted arrest but he was subdued, handcuffed, thrown on the ground, and a knee was placed on his neck for about nine minutes with three other policemen watching. Mr. Floyd told the officers he couldn’t breathe. Passers by informed the officers that Mr. Floyd was struggling to breathe. Thankfully the police officer who killed him was charged with murder and the other 3 officers have charges pending. This is a necessary initial first step, but how can Americans continue to ignore racism and allow it to destroy our union from within?
Until we the people acknowledge that racism is a cancer in America, that left unchecked, it will absolutely usher in the chaos of Democracy and the the death of our Republic. The U.S. Constitution states that all men are created equal. When it was written, people of color were not treated as equals. Over the years since the Constitution was written, equality was legislated into the constitution but has not been enforced fairly or equally. It is time that equal protection under the law be enforced. It doesn’t make a difference if a citizen, law enforcement, or the military chokes the life out of someone with a knee on the neck for nine minutes, it is murder. Of course if there is an enemy in war or well documented self defense, a charge of murder is not warranted.
With regards to the riot that followed Mr. Floyd’s murder, there is no justification for burning and looting. There were a few people among a crowd of mostly peaceful protesters who triggered the riot. Those few should be brought to justice and prosecuted. The anger is understood, but peaceful protest is the only way to eradicate racism. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr proved that. We just need to use his blueprint to stamp out the last vestiges of racism and social injustice. Most Americans know racism is still a problem in America, but too few of you have voiced your concerns. This is a time in America’s history that we have to speak in one clear and committed voice that racism will no longer be tolerated, and equal justice under the law will be the standard everyone will be judged by.
Racism in America, simply put, is overwhelmingly white people taking advantage of and exerting force upon people of color. Why racism exist is more difficult to define. My guess is that throughout history, white people have dominated the world through theft, intimidation, and murder. Once civilization evolved to have rules, domination became less easy to maintain legally, and that began to balance the power. Though the balance of power was becoming more equal legally, whites still maintained the advantage of the weapons of death and they used them liberally. Whites want to keep their advantage of overall power and are willing to kill to keep it. Other whites, because of ignorance and propaganda, fear people of color and sometimes kill because they think people of color will harm them “I was afraid for my life”. White people, understand that people of color are not out to get you. Just stop the killing. They just want the promise the Constitution gives of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. If you don’t believe me check the FBI statistics on murder. As you can see, you are more likely to be harmed or killed by a white person than any other race. Beware of your neighbor, brother, sister, cousin, and white strangers. These are the people who are harming, stealing from, and killing you the most. This truth is true for every race. People are at more risk from people of their own race than people of other races.
So if you truly want a United States of America filled with truth, justice, and equality, then you want to stamp out racism. This is your call to do and say everything you can, whenever you can, to make sure racism is relegated to the history books. Only when this is done will America be truly great. We can do better. We are better. Let’s prove it. May God bless us and may God bless the USA.
Donald Trump is a Dictator wanna be who is in a position to make good on his wish by dividing instead of uniting the great citizens of the U.S. He already has his base ignoring his criminal, immoral, and treasonous behavior. They don’t care about his incessant pathological lying, and has them believing that he is the only one telling the truth. He has weakened their faith in our Intelligence Agencies, Justice System, Legislative Branch of Government, and all news media except FOX News. He is fanning the fires of racism. Finally, he is destroying the essence of the Constitution of the United States by ignoring the rule of law and running our great nation with knee-jerk responses instead of careful thought. Trump’s followers stick with him because he is bold, unapologetic, cusses like them, and thinks of women like they are pieces of meat. And yes, there must be a few women that like being thought of in that way. How else do you explain Women For Trump t-shirts? If anybody but Trump grabbed them by the vagina, the guy doing the grabbing would be going to jail.
Now the question is, how do you prevent a dictator from rising to power? Congress must enact laws to protect the American people against lies, deceit, and foreign interference as follows:
A candidate for President must be disqualified if found to be deliberately lying to the electorate, giving misleading information about their platform, or engaging with members of a foreign government within 5 years before and during the campaign for President. Once a candidate is nominated for President by their Party, the Federal Government must vet the nominee. If the nominee does not pass the vet, the runner up must now be vetted, and so on. Adultry with a Porn star when you are married, while immoral, is not illegal or a problem, but paying to keep it quiet so you can become President is a felony. You go directly to jail. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.
Once a President is seated, he is sworn to uphold, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic. If he deliberately fails to do his duty on any or all levels, he is in violation of the Constitution. In that scenario, the Constitution mandates that he be Impeached. Trump in currently in violation of the Constitution by ignoring the rule of law, obstructing justice, and ignoring subpoenas. The Legislative Branch of Government has oversight over the President’s Branch of Government. This oversight is mandated by the Constitution. The House of Representatives is also ignoring the rule of law by not initiating impeachment. They are “weighing their political options”. In other words, they are trying to keep their jobs and win the Presidency in 2020. The Constitution did not say, don’t impeach if you may lose your job or an election. None of that will matter if we lose our Democracy, empathy, and morality as a nation. If they don’t stop Trump now, they are sending the message that future Presidents can run the country the same way he is doing. We now live in a country where lying is the norm, our allies are treated with disrespect, our enemies are our best friends, racism is just a nuisance, and Trump is the only one to be trusted. Really!!!! 1. Trump lies on camera all the time. How many times have you seen him lie with a straight face on camera? 2. Did you see him agree with Putin over the CIA about Russian interference with our 2016 elections? 3. How many times did he alienate our allies on camera? 4, How much more air, water, and land pollution can we tolerate? The Paris Climate Accords may have been unfair to the U.S., but who cares about fairness if you can’t breathe the air, drink the water, or grow crops. Still no replacement plan. 5. Trump makes racist tweets and comments. 6. A sampling of Trump ignoring the Rule of Law.
The above six items can only lead to a divided people, chaotic government, and moral decay which ultimately leads to the loss of our freedoms and the fall of our civilization. Is a booming economy, rich people getting richer, Conservative Judges on the Supreme court, Immigrant bans, and making our new allies Communists worth the destruction of our system of Government and the loss of our freedoms?Republicans don’t want you to vote for Democrats because they are Socialist leaning. Democrats may be leaning toward Socialism, but the Republican President is openly embracing Communist leaders. What’s wrong with this picture? Socialism is an ideal that suggest that all Citizens benefit and contribute equally in the society. Communism is an organization that forces the will of a few over all the Citizens. Neither choice is ideal, but if you had to pick one, Socialism is better than Communism. Of course, we have the best system and it’s called Democracy. Let’s keep it. You know what to do in 2020!!!!
